The apartment house Hus is situated in the peace and quiet of Mitterolang and boasts stunning views of the Olang section of the Dolomites and the Kronplatz area. A new generation has taken over the business and in 2018 the apartments were renovated, modernized and newly furnished, in collaboration with Sternbach among others.

Reduced to the essential, but still with a personal touch, the guesthouse is supposed to address a younger and more urban clientele. The original building was freed from embellishment and ornaments outside and coated in a neutral, bright paint. Thus also the rooms were supposed to convey a bright and friendly feeling, supported by a subtle soft colour concept with harmonious pastel colours.

In this way, the apartments reflect the personalities of the new owners who both work in the creative sector, as architect and as graphic designer. The furnishings are modern and up-to-date, representing a contrast to the kitschy image of the South Tyrolean mountains. Unpretentious and clear, functional and down to the point, without additional ballast – the elegant apartments are both a retreat haven and a point of departure for exploring the surrounding nature or for ski trips in winter. Together with the owners, Sternbach has elaborated the furnishing and the colour concept.
